Ankur Rawat

Ankur Rawat is the Chief Information Officer of Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), Inc., the separate but affiliated U.S. government arm of technology powerhouse Siemens. With project teams across the U.S. and internationally, SGT is a cleared provider of Siemens products, technologies and software to solve some of the most complex government challenges in energy, automation and digitalization.

Rawat leads SGT’s technology strategy and activities, ensuring compliance with all government standards and protocols affecting network systems and IT tools.

With nearly two decades of experience across diverse information technology roles, Rawat brings significant federal and commercial market experience to SGT. He most recently served as vice president and Chief Technology Officer for CALIBRE Systems, Inc., where he managed strategic technology partnerships, guided technology investments, and delivered IT solutions for clients and internal business needs. Earlier in his career, Rawat served as a systems engineer at Northrop Grumman. In this role, he made lasting contributions that aided the Defense Health Agency in its massive effort to digitize military health records. With an aptitude for large-scale transformative initiatives, he quickly moved into management roles, leading large project teams and holding executive positions. Throughout his career, Rawat served as Chief Engineer supporting the Military Health System, Chief Information Security Officer at 3M Health Information Systems, and Chief Technology Officer at LongView International Technology Solutions.

Rawat is a Cisco Certified Network Associate and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He is a member of AFCEA International, a non-profit association for military, government, and industry communities to collaborate on projects involving information technology, communications, and electronic capabilities. He is also a member of the Washington Executive Cyber Council.

Rawat holds a master’s degree in information security from American University, a Master of Business Administration from California Miramar University, and a bachelor’s degree in information systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
