Our compliance program provides employees with the tools, resources and knowledge to apply ethical practices in all that we do consistent with government policies and regulations. At SGT, compliance is more about how we choose to model and live our values than strict adherence to a minimum set of standards. We take great pride in what we do and in how we do it.

SGT’s compliance program supports a culture of integrity with five essential key functions:

  • Identify the regulatory and legal risks that the company faces and advise on those risks (identification)
  • Apply, design, and implement internal controls to protect the company and employees from those risks (prevention)
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of those controls in the management of SGT's exposure to risks (monitoring and detection)
  • Resolve compliance difficulties as they occur (collaboration and resolution)
  • Advise on applicable rules and controls (interpretative and advisory)
