John Ustica

John Ustica is the Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), Inc., the separate but affiliated U.S. government arm of technology powerhouse Siemens. With project teams across the U.S. and internationally, SGT is a cleared provider of Siemens products, technologies and software to solve some of the most complex government challenges in energy, automation and digitalization.

With nearly two decades of experience in the power generation and industrial manufacturing sector at Siemens, Ustica has led a significant number of initiatives in support of corporate and project finance, strategic acquisition, financial work stream delegation, forecasting, reporting, planning, and internal audits. Previously, he was the General Manager for Generator Products at Siemens Energy Facility in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he also led strategic product initiatives for the global generator manufacturing network. Prior to this role, Ustica was Plant Controller for Fort Payne Operations. In this capacity, he was responsible for profit and loss as CFO for the manufacturing plant. He also served as the Plant Manager of Siemens Energy Facility for Electrical Components in Fort Payne, Alabama, where he led a team involved in reducing lead times of core products by 20% and established an Apprenticeship Program in collaboration with the local community college.

From 2010 to 2012, Ustica served as the Director of Finance at Siemens Power Generation Heavy Plant Facility in Mulheim, Germany, leading the financial manufacturing, engineering, and development of new generator products.

Ustica has been recognized for his outstanding financial leadership in both the boardroom and community. In 2018, he was named to the “Top 40 Business Leaders Under 40” by the Charlotte Business Journal, and in 2020, he was selected as a finalist for Washington Executive’s inaugural Chief Officer Awards for his innovation, expertise and thought leadership within the government contracting space.

He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Rollins College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Central Florida.
