Electronic Security Systems IDIQ Contract

Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), Inc. – the federally-focused U.S. arm of technology powerhouse Siemens – was among 23 vendors selected by the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, to install, service, and maintain Electronic Security Systems (ESS) at government installations under the newest ESS VII Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract valued up to $675 million over the next seven years.

SGT teams will provide a wide range of ESS products including intrusion detection systems; access control and video systems; information assurance, data processing and data storage for data transmission systems; command and control systems, and related services. Additional work scope may incorporate automated control systems, including building automation systems, fire alarm systems, life safety systems, chemical / biological / radiological detection / response systems, mass notification systems, and associated technologies.
